What began as two technicians coming together to form a business has now grown to more than 25 skilled technicians. Roberts & Petty Inc. began in 1965. Aaron Roberts and Ted Petty decided to combine their experience and start their own venture. Within a year, they were joined by current owners, Dale Nix and Mickey Perkins. (All four men worked on the construction of the Brownwood Coliseum in 1964! Little did they know what would happen a year later.)

As the business grew, Nix and Perkins were made partners in 1970. In 2001, the pair took over full ownership from the original owners and today still manages the business. Rex Bessent is also a Roberts & Petty Inc. partner, with a main focus in accounting.

The treatment of our customers is our top priority. We haven’t forgotten how service calls used to be, “way back when.” We’re proud to continue that same level of customer service with each and every project. We believe a courteous, respectful, reliable business will never go out of style.
